Pixel Grain
Pixel Grain

It is a project that confronts the digital and analog process in the photographic media. I projected historical photos on a LED screen and after, I took some photos from the screen with a macro lenses to have the entire screen texture. A digital texture in counterpoint with the analogue prints of the time.

Printing them in a large scale, when we see them closely, we have an abstract image and when we move away, we can distinguish it more easily. A dialogue between the physical distance between the viewer and the prints, and the temporal distance that we have between the historical analogical photos and the digital photos produced for the project.
